My Son who will be 2 yrs old in Feb 2019
As mentioned, my son doesnt eat anything except milk. Is it a concern? He was eating before like chapati, dal and vegetables. Just to mention he drinks cow's milk with honey. Pls suggest that is it a matter of worry for us or he will gradually start eating?

dear parents,      long time giving only milk leads to anemia as milk do not contain iron. so according to me stop milk from 8amto8pm &give semisolid diet, you have to initiate, your child won't demand. start with stop milk for 4hrs &give semisolid diet for 15day, next stop milk for 8hrs for next 15days, lastly stop milk from 8amto8pm &give semisolid diet. as 100ml milk gives 70 calories of energy, 100ml juices give 55 calories of energy ,100gm of semisolid diet gives 350calories of energy. you can give dal, Dalia, khichdi, rice, alu, kela, apple, upama, halwa ,patoliya ,rab kadi idle, poha, satu custard etc.

At this age, stop breastfeeding and bottle feeds if given. Give just 2 top milk feeds using a glass and 4 solid meals a day including curds and bananas in the diet in addition to whatever you prepare at home. As long as he's physically active and playful, relax!!
