My period has not started
Hi Doc. My period has not yet after the delivery and now my baby is almost 16 months old. So I have consulted the doctor and he gave me Medogest-10
medicine for 5 days (3 times a day). It's been a 6 days I completed the course but still dint get my periods. Am worried can you please suggest?

Your baby is 16 months old. So the baby will be breastfed for some more time. For that much time you will get irregular periods. It is better to use some contraceptive which does not affect lactation. Otherwise every month you will be worried and take progesterone for withdrawal bleeding. Please don't go for a stop gap arrangement, go for a long lasting solution like an intrauterine device
