My Mom is suffering from Swelling issue
Mom has swelling in Hands & Legs,and nerve pain in hands,RFT Test results shows uric acid 5.8, she is already taking few tablets as per doctor advice since 3 weeks, nothing has changed, she is unable to fold fingers and swelling pain in palm too,she is cardio & diabetic patient. Kindly advise what kind of treatment or medicine required

She could be having rheumatoid arthritis.
She might need steroids to control her current flare up.
Please consult nearest ortho or physician to get blood tests and examination done and start treatment.
It can be controlled and she will be better.
