My mother has severe pain in both knee and has swelling on both legs and hands. Attached is the X ray. Pls guide

OA knee . If significant pain after trying conservative management , Then go for knee replacement. Still need to see weight bearing xrays here .

Its showing that supporting cartilage (cushion in knee) is a little damaged.  There are good therapies like PLatelet rich plasma injections which can help this heal. Better would be to consult in person. This type of osteoarthritis changes will increase if left alone. Pain killers are onlyva temporary solution.
