Swelling of legs
Hi, One of my friend had injured his foot when he had a fall. However later it started paining him alot. And started swelling as he did not take care of it. Now the swelling has increased and its not going at all. He consulted the best but still no use. I am attaching the picture of his leg. Please help me what can be done. How to reduce the swelling

When did he fall ? Any x ray taken ? If so , please post the x ray .. ask him not weight bear on that leg and elevate the limb and ice application

the need is to provide complete rest to the leg for few days. it can be done by giving a plaster cast if the walking is painful. rest means avoiding every activity that puts stress on the foot.

Hi, A detailed history will be required When was the injury? How did the injury occur? Any x-ray or investigation you got? Consult directly so proper history can be taken and management can be started accordingly
