My husband is 28 years old and he had his routine checkup in which his hba1c level is 7.2%. Is he diabetic and if yes then do he need to start medicines or not.

Do fasting glucose level and 2 hour post prandial glucose level.
Life style change,diet modification and exercise for 30 minutes a day for 5 days in a week to achieve
Goal for him fasting glucose below 130mg

please follow proper diabetic diet,everyday walking for minimum 30 minutes ,do blood test for Fbs and ppbs and start Tab Metformin 500 bdac …
