My husband's hba1c is 7.2%
Hi doc My husband is 28 years old and he had his routine checkup in which his hba1c level is 7.2%. Is he diabetic and if yes then do he need to start medicines or not.

HBA1C of 7.2 is diabetic Do fasting glucose level and 2 hour post prandial glucose level. Life style change,diet modification and exercise for 30 minutes a day for 5 days in a week to achieve Goal for him fasting glucose below 130mg
