Hi all, my husband got his sugar level tested in before his breakfast in the morning, we haven't checked this before. But his sugar is 218. What does this indicate?

His morning sugars are high. It is concerning for diabetes. However it gives only snap shot of his sugars. To confirm diagnosis of diabetes, recommend getting Hba1c ,fasting sugar and PP sugar in the lab and consult online to determine if he requires diabetes medicines

Hello His sugars are above normal. To diagnose as diabetes need HbA1c.
