My husband contacted syphilis
My husband and I both got tested for syphilis on 28oct. He came reactive and I came non reactive I had sex with him on 30 sep and then on 24 oct. Then again for precaution I got vdrl done today i.e. 23 nov , again it came non reactive Is it possible that I might have syphilis and vdrl is not showing it right now? Please suggest should I get one more test done and around which date ? Also, note that I am not having any symptoms of syphilis aswell as not feeling any thing different in my health. And my husband has gotten treated with 3 doses of penicillin injection . Should I continue having sex with him if he is treated and I don't have syphilis then ?
