Watch for any excess irritation/ reduced activity /increase in size of swelling /bleeding from nose,ears/ fits -immediate consultation to paediatrician
Post fall if the child dint have any loss of consciousness or vomiting or fits like symptoms then can apply cold compresses and give medication for pain relief and wait and watch.
In case of any of the above symptoms seen in the child immediately consult a pediatrician in person.
Head injuries are a common thing in toddlers.
The important things to watch out for after a head injury are-
1. Any loss of consciousness,
2. Any bleeding from ears or nose,
3. Any vomiting.
4. Painful swelling
5. Increase in size of swelling
