If the baby is breastfeeding, it is normal for him/her to not pass stools for 7-10 days or passing stools 7-8 times everyday. If the baby is crying a lot, maybe he is hungry. Try to breastfeed him every 2-3 hours with atleast once night time feeds.

1. Breastfeed every 2-3 hours with each session lasting 15-20 mins 2. Start from one side , empty it and then feed from other side in each session 3. If the baby is passing urine 6-7 times per day, nothing to worry. 4. Burp after every feed to avoid regurgitation of feeds 5. If the baby has abdominal distension, is refusing feeds, passing hard stools, developing jaundice; consult a nearby pediatrician for physical examination and further advise
