Muscular pain in the back
I was infected with Covid a year ago and post recovery I had severe muscular pain in the mid back area while resting. This went on for a couple of months after which I was put on Amitriptyline 10 mg  for 2 months which helped me and the pain disappeared. A year later the pain has come back and troubles me when I lie down on the bed every night. Please let me know what I need to do. Thank you.

The new attack of pain may not be related to Covid. Please consult a General Physician in your area for a proper physical examination. It could even be an abscess.
