you should consult a physiotherapist for the muscle weakness and calf pain. the strengthening exercises +co-ordination exercises will help in your knee problem. the electrical modalities will be helpful for the relaxation and to improve the blood circulation. For the improvement of strength of the knee there is no other option rather than physiotherapy. calf stretching exercise will relieve the pain of your calves. Have a good, nutritious and balanced diet.

In my opinion you must continue with the vitamin d medication and also do the test for vitamin b 12 as you are having calf pain as well... for this kind of pain you can use a new technique called as dry needling that will help in relieving the calf pain by inserting the needle intramuscularly... yes homeopathy has results in this but it will take time... my wife is a homeopathic consultant u can let me know the medications u are taking in homeopathy I can guide u by keeping her in loop...get well soon take care
Next Steps
Go for dry needling technique and also do contrast bath ( hot and cold fermentation ) followed by stretching for calf muscle...
Health Tips
Do not put pressure on calf muscle keep that in a relaxed position...

Hi, you mentioned that had taken treatment for knee pain for one year, but still not completely relieved from your pain.  That's too longer duration, as per your age you might be having some musculosketal issue not degeneration. If it's a musculo skeletal issue homeopathy is not good idea.
Next Steps
You should consult qualified physiotherapist

Next Steps
Take Ice cold water in a round bottle and then rub it on your calf, This will really help you to reduce the pain and will relax it
