Hello Doctor,
I have been experiencing persistent muscle soreness and a feeling of tiredness in both my thighs for the past several months. The soreness feels similar to the muscle pain experienced after exercise, even though I haven’t engaged in any strenuous physical activity.
I also experience general body tiredness and fatigue. The symptoms occur even when I am resting.
Could you please evaluate my symptoms and advise me on the necessary blood tests or investigations?
Thank you.

See these symptoms can sometimes be associated with vitamin D or B12 deficiency, iron deficiency/anemia, thyroid dysfunction, electrolyte imbalances or muscle-related conditions.
Health Tips
Go to the near by hospital if you develop progressive muscle weakness, difficulty walking or climbing stairs, severe muscle pain, or dark colored urine
Constant soreness and tiredness in both thighs, present even at rest and without any exercise, points toward a few common causes: low vitamin D, anaemia, an underactive thyroid, or a muscle enzyme imbalance rather than ordinary exertion.
Next Steps
A basic panel covering haemoglobin, vitamin D, vitamin B12, thyroid function, and creatine kinase is a reasonable starting point to look for the cause.
Health Tips
See a general physician in person if the soreness spreads, your urine turns dark, or you find it hard to climb stairs or stand up from sitting.
