“I have lower back pain and heaviness in both thighs, worse on the right. I can walk slowly at home, but if I walk outside for more than 2 minutes, it becomes painful and I start limping. Going downstairs also worsens pain. The pain started about 3 months ago. There’s no numbness, no pain below the knee, and it doesn’t get worse with cough or sneeze. I’d like to know if this is due to muscle weakness, spine/nerve irritation, or something else, and what tests you recommend.”
