I have notice excess mucus in stool , i took colonoscopy one month back and ultrasound 2 months back , report came back as normal study , what is the causes of mucus in stool and what is the treatment of it. Report also uploaded.

Colonoscopy may not find all the problems in the beginning stages
It may be due irritable bowel syndrome
