Pus cells and mucus in stool!
What does pus cells(2-3) and presence of mucus mean in a stool routine? No blood ever. No stomach ache. Few days back I ate outside after that stomach ache was there and also thin stools. Is this infection or ibs or ibd? No one in my family has ibd, father has diverticulitis though, but uncomplicated. Apart from that no cancer or any history. Please help me. My maternal uncle had cancer in his 65-70s few years back, and as far as I know it was colorectal probably. So i get easily scared :(. Slight mucus is mostly present, i mean not visible on stool always but when i was my anus, that time i can feel jelly type. Apart from that occasional thin stools. When i take VSL mostly it gets normal. I had covid in February it was a little moderate to severe(not hospitalised though) and inwas vaccinated with double dose. Can that be the cause? Or this indicates some infection?
