MRI for Ankle sprain
I fell down froms steps and twisted my leg two months back.. I was wearing crape bandage.. pain had subsided and I was walking normally.. suddenly pain has increased a lot. I am unable to walk without ankle binder. Doctor suggested to do MRI if pain doesn't decrease. Earlier I had ligament ter in my right hand wrist. So I had taken MRI scan two times. Is it safe to take one more MRI scan ? Please help Why the pain has suddenly increased ? Xray reports were normal

You can take MRI as many times as you want. No risk of radiation. You injury is suggestive of any soft tissue injury - Ligamentous strain/tear. Get Doctor consultation.
