Motions are not normal
My Father is struggling with his bowel movements since 3 days now. He was hospitalized for a week 4 days ago for infections in the blood. Now he complains of, feeling an urge to pass stool but nothing comes out when he visits the lavatory. He has pain in the rectal area. We are administering laxatives like Softovac. also under medication.
Last time he complained of similar experience, a few days later he had severe Diarrhoea and had to be hospitalized. should we wait a day or get him checked.

Take him to local nursing home and get enema done for passing motions. Once the hard part of stools get evacuated your softovac should start functioning. You may add syrup cremaffin plus to to softovac
