I have emotional detachment with people and things. I am not attached to my family much but can do things for them as I feel they are my family anf I should do. But what about emotions???

I understand your distressful situation. You seem to be suffering from few depressive symptoms however the reason for which is unclear. More clarity is needed regarding your problem. Information regarding your sleep, hunger, energy levels, interests and concentration at whatever you do would be more helpful to decide on the severity of your condition. Hi, Thanks for chosing practo, I can understand your problem that you are unable to feel emotions towards your family members inspite of taking care of them I can say that it might be due to  any stress or depression If you are not interested in mingling with your family members,  and stays withdrawn, then it might be related to psychosis Anyway I would like to advise you to start on antidepressants like ESCITALOPRAM 10 mg in the morning  along with OLANZAPINE 10  mg in the night for about 1 month and can get back to me about the response Thank you
