Hello Sir,
Both medicines you mentioned belong to the same group of anti-allergic medicines, but their combinations are not exactly the same. That means Montek LC and Monticope are slightly different in their formulation, and they may not be interchangeable in every situation. It is better to use only what your doctor has prescribed, because dosage and composition vary, and taking the wrong substitute may not give you the expected relief.
If you already have Monticope, please confirm with your prescribing doctor before replacing it with Montek LC.
I hope it helps you. For proper management and treatment, you can consult me.

Always remember, Brand and Drug names.
Brand names could be different. So when you buy meds, just check the name of the drug, or if you're confused, consult your doc.
But the same drug with a different brand name can be taken. Here also, you can take Monticope.
Both Montek IC and Monticope contain Montelukast + an antihistamine, but the type of antihistamine is different.
Montek IC has Montelukast + Levocetirizine which is usually less sedating.
Monticope has Montelukast + Cetrizine which can cause more drowsiness in some people.
Next Steps
They are used for similar conditions like allergy, cold, or cough. However, since your doctor specifically prescribed Montek IC, it is better to use the same one unless your doctor advises otherwise, especially considering your age and any other health issues.
