Monocytes count is zero
My mother having typhoid now ,her monocytes count is zero ,while other value is normal .is any thing serious ?

The details that you have given is not complete. But i would try to answer with the limited information that you have given. A low monocyte count means white blood cell is low overall. Normal monocyte count should be between 2 to 8% of total white blood cell count. Don't worry. Give antibiotics as prescribed by your physician. It will improve. Take diet property add some more fruits in diet.
