My mother having typhoid now ,her monocytes count is zero ,while other value is normal .is any thing serious ?

The details that you have given is not complete. But i would try to answer with the limited information that you have given. A low monocyte count means white blood cell is low overall. Normal monocyte count should be between 2 to 8% of total white blood cell count. In typhoid it is normal to have low white blood cell count so low monocyte is normal. Don't worry. Give antibiotics as prescribed by your physician. It will improve. Take diet property add some more fruits in diet.
