MMR first dose
Hello doctor My baby  is 10 month 3 days old . Iam planning to give him MMR first dose but after vaccine he may suffer fever. As we are going to native for pongal festival. Can I postpone vaccine for a week. Kindly reply to my concern. Thank you.

Better to vaccinate the child before planning trips . Fever settles in two days and manageable with fever medicines

Get him vaccinated. Even if he devolops fever it wont last more than 1 day

there There were many measles cases reported Two months earlier in Mumbai. So I would just suggest you to get her vaccinated first. Beyond this if you want to Give it after a week Even then it is fine, There is no contraindications.
