Missed my triple test
Hi, I am 20 weeks pregnant. Missed my triple marker test. Is this test very necessary?? Is there any other test which gives same assistance as triple marker and can be done now??

Hello, Yes you should for a triple market test. There will be no complications of missing this test. This test analyzes how likely an unborn baby is to have certain genetic disorders. The exam measures the levels of three important substances in the placenta: alpha-fetoprotein (AFP) human chorionic gonadotropin (HCG) estriol.

Yes, this test is necessary..But don't worry you won't have major problem without this test..Now you can do only 1 thing..get Malformation scan done by expert Sonologist to rule out major congenital Malformation
