Missed abortion
My wife missed periods so we consulted Dr and Dr asked to do a pregnancy test. The test was positive but after doing sonography it was found that Foetal cardiac activity is absent and foetal movements are not present. L.M.P was 26/12/2023. Sonography reports say: Gestational sacs measure 1.8cm, correspondence to 7 weeks & 0 days CRL measures 6mm and correspondence to 6 weeks and 5 days There is evidence of sub chorionic clot seen. Desidual reaction is normal. Cervix measures 5cm Internal O.S is closed. Please advise whether medicine can solve problems or D&C is a must?

No further medicine. Please get a sonography done after a week and if still no heart action is seen then you should get a D&C done

Medicines for termination of pregnancy cannot be given online You will have to meet a doctor in your city and proceed under her supervision understanding the failure rate of medical abortion
