Minor vertebral compression fracture

Asked for Female, 70 Years

My grandma has very minor compression fracture and doctor has recommended her complete bed rest for 3 weeks. I have a query regarding this. Can she turn her back or move slightly right or left while sleeping?and also she has to sit while taking medicine and food so i hope that is not an issue for back right? If there is any other precautions that we should keep in mind regarding that then please tell me
