Mind diverting
I am wearing a tmj splint on my lower row of teeth for tmj disorder problem and I am always thinking that there is something in my mouth. As a result, this is making me always tensed and worried. So how can I divert my mind from this bad thing to a good thing? Please help me.

If you are getting good result after wearing it, then continue and follow your dentist. It you getting good result, then take 2nd opinion of oral surgeon or oral medicin e specialist.

There is something in mouth so accept it. You can also take opinion of a psychologist you help in diverting. If not you have to ask for alternative treatment. Splints help to unload the joint but do not help always for all types of derangements. Also multifactorial management may be needed. Start with psychologist to help cope with the stress and to accept the treatment.
