Mild pain for seconds in lower abdomen
Sometimes, I experience mild pain in my lower abdomen after urinating .I also seem to have recurrent UTIs, especially after having frequent sex. However, my periods and menstrual flow are regular. I’m not sure whether these symptoms are normal or what might be causing them. Could you please advise me on whether I should be concerned and which type of doctor I should consult?

Your pain after urinating along with recurrent UTIs after sex is common and usually treatable. Since your periods stay regular, this isn't likely hormonal.
Next Steps
A urine culture test can confirm if infection is the cause and guide your treatment.
Health Tips
Urinating right after sex and staying hydrated can lower how often this happens for you.

You can consult a gynaecologist or a urologist Either of the doctors would be able to help you Recurrence of UTI is mostly because of inadequate water intake Renal stones you can get an ultrasound done to find out Incomplete treatment Ideally antibiotics should be prescribed after culture sensitivity After completing the course of antibiotics after a week repeat urine routine test should be done to confirm completion of treatment
