Mild hydronephrosis
Hello, I had an injury in nov 2020 to Stomach due to which i had stomach and back pain, ultrasound revealed mild hydronephrosis, pain continued, and then in 31 May 2021 I showed a urologist Doctor Max Hospital ,he ordered several test and ct urography but nothing was revealed even the mild hydronephrosis didn't showed up there, He said there is no problem, it's just a muscle pain and ignore it and even now the pain is still there and I had noticed that if start eating badam, kaju regularly my pain increases and when i stop them my pain decreases and If I start some medicine for other conditions pain increases and when i. Leave them pain decreases. Please Help This is frustrating. I am worried Hydronephrosis is still there as I also feel stomach pain and Back pain together. And I definitely know it's not Gas.

You need to consult urologist with all previous reports. Mild hydronephrosis is not a serious issue until there is no stone. On serial ultrasound if it’s increasing then we can repeat CT scan or do DTPA Rena scan. Pain which occurring while eating something is usually not from kidney. So please don’t mix all problems together, stay relax and have faith on doctors as well. Sometimes physiological hydronephrosis also visible on ultrasound, which may be absent on CT scan .
