We live in Hyderabad. My father says he had a mild heart attack yesterday night. The symptoms were like the left side of body was becoming numb, chest pain and difficulty to breath for half a minute until he took a pill. He is a
diabetes patient. Yesterday, when tested his blood
sugar was 160 pre-lunch and 255 post-lunch. Recently, he was infected with gangrene and his middle finger of left leg was amputated. He is also having a throat infection due to which he is unable to speak, without stressing his throat (that too unclear).
So, I want to know whether we should consult a cardiologist and get him admitted in hospital? or we can continue the medicines previous cardiologist had suggested?
