Methotrexate  in Rheumatoid arthritis?
I am pharma professional.My brother inlaw (Age34yr)has RA since last 6yrs.  He has difficulties in walking due to severe Rheumatoid arthritis in knee joint .He has been prescrbed with Methotrexate inj. Is it safe to take this medicines for RA?. Will glucosamine suppliment help in RA?

It is the gold standard drug. Dosage 7.5mg twice weekly . Take tablets instead of injections.
Next Steps
Tab folic avid(5mg) once daily in addition will help.
