As long as your pain is better day by day at the fracture site and able to put some weight . I think you should wear protective boots from the orthotics comes in black worn over the shoes. These fractures can take sometimes 4 to 6 months to heal and you stl have chance. So go for protected weight bearing with shoes. Your physiotherapist will make you understand this
