METABOLISM SYNDROME?
Can anyone please enlighten me to this one? It seems related with my condition right now. I am diagnosed with PCOS at 17. Took meds but I gave them up because I don't like the side effects. Tried dieting but the belly fat seems not to lessen. How is Metabolism syndrome related to PCOS? Are they correlated? Thanks much!

Pcos and insulin resistance seem to have a connection . The best strategy is to choose low carb , high fibre , high protein , good fat diet . It heals pcos . Avoid grains , sugar, Chana, rajma type of beans , refined flour , roots n tubers , jaggery, honey , all juices , eating fruits in excess . Yoga does wonders - sign for at least 6 months - reduces stress , works internally n contributes to stabilising metabolic issues . Walk -5km everyday or get professional help n design an exercise plan . Sleep by 10 pm - very very important. If stressed or dealing with unresolved issues , meet counsellor- since stress hormones released insulin which in turn converts ur food into fat (mostly).
