Do u like yourself first hand?!! What is the guarantee that if u don't like yourself u will project well.
It is the way u behave you get circle of friends not by status and income.
I think if u could meet a counsellor for a session you might get some clarity to handle those issues in you better.
You may be suffering from depression, consult a psychologist or Psychiatrist who can diagnose your problem and advise accordingly
