My sister is suffering for lots of anxiety and restlessness...She is on medication and also taking counciling sessions by psychologist for last 4 months
She looses her voice for some hours and again her voice is back...This happens regularly to her in every 1-2 days.
Some one told me that this mental disease is called "hysteria or conversion disorder"
Is it true?
(1)what is it's permanent and effective treatment as we are giving her treatment by psychiatrist and physiologist both for last 4 months in Bangalore. But not much improvement.
Pls help.

First one has to decide whether any organic disorder is involved like epilepsy. If it is excluded , proper diagnosis has to be made . It could be conversion disorder but it is treatable so don’t worry
