In Ayurveda we have very good management for such structural damages. But we need to examine the joint and also see the reports available before starting the treatment. So if you can consult we can help.

How long have your symptoms been present? Does you knee click/give way or lock? If still symptomatic and not improving, arthroscopy is required. Dr M Vashishtha FRCS www.dr-mv.com

You will need an arthroscopy. It is a very safe procedure . As for recurrence the tear is due to injury to the knee and if you re injure you can again tear your meniscus.

If it is a radial tear un the meniscus then it can only be cured with arthroscopic repair/removal of torn fragment of meniscus. A properly done arthroscopic job should solve your problem and there ususally aren't any side effects of the procedure.
