Meniscus and partial pcl ligament tear
I have medial meniscus tear with partial pcl ligament tear.Initially I used to have locking and severe tenderness and pain in my knee. Now my pain and discomfort is all reduced and I'm comfortable in my daily chores. But still have noticeable popping sound coming from knee without pain. Can I ignore the sounds??how can I make sure that I'm recovered??My doc suggested arthroscopy. Can I try prp injection instead of surgery as my pain reduced??

How and when did the injury occur? PCL seems to be fine on the images that you have attached. Meniscal tear isn’t very clear. There must be another plate/film which shows more of it. Any sound associated with pain from any joint isn’t good. It must be the click rather than the pop Meniscal tears heal only if they are in the red zone. Sanakin (ACRS) therapy is better than PRP. If there’s a significant tear in the meniscus your symptoms may come back or worsen over time along with cartilage wear. Trust your doctor and go ahead with Arthroscopy if he says it’s necessary

Partial tears respond well to regenerative therapies like prp and growth factors . Visit a pain physician to know about these options and an examination.
Next Steps
visit a pain physician
