Can a father's statin medication affect pregnancy?
I'm 35, male and taking 5mg of rosuvastatin. And we are planning for second baby, I was not under statin medication during the first pregnancy.
Now taking this medication will it affect the pregnancy?

Hello,
If the father is taking any medicine there would be no effect on the baby .if the mother is taking medicine before or during pregnancy that can affect baby

You are taking very low dose of statin mostly it doesn’t affect . Check your lipid profile and state why you are taking statin
