As a Medical Cosmetologist, I treat many patients with melasma everyday.
Melasma is a stubborn pigmentation which is also affected by hormones....so when it comes to melasma, only topical treatments are not enough...they need to be combined with proper care (lifestyle changes, food habits etc).
Picosecond laser is a good option when treating melasma but it needs consistency and patience...along with proper medication and care.
Next Steps
Kindly book an online consultation for further evaluation and management
No need to worry.specific treatment is available.it depends on severity of the disease . Complete medical history is required..
Pls do online consultation with Dermatologist for detailed prescription & guidance.
Photos are required for proper diagnosis. Melasma is very resistant to treatment if the pigment is deep. Treatment should be customised according to severity of your problem.
