Is nexito plus 5mg is addictive? Can it be dependency After consumption of this tablet can we discontinue it after the prescribed time or do we need to follow up with lower dose ?

No it is not addictive. It does not come under addiction category medications. More like anti diabetics or anti hypertensives, normalizes the internal milieu.but you need to follow up regularly with a psychiatrist and not self medicate the same.

Usually it would be better to taper the dose before completely stopping it so that you don't have any further disturbances

Follow-up. It does not cause "addiction" - it can cause what we call withdrawal symptoms if stopped abruptly, but if taken as a proper course it is an effective treatment for depression. Please follow-up with your prescribing psychiatrist

This drug needs to be taken under a doctor's supervision.  Sometimes it causes withdrawal symptoms so better to taper this drug under a doctors supervision.
