This kind of persistent head pressureâespecially aggravated by cold, dairy, sweets, and lack of movementâoften aligns in Ayurveda with Vata-Kapha imbalance, possibly with some Pitta involvement (increased by spicy foods). Here's a structured Ayurvedic approach that may help you:
ð¿ Ayurvedic Management Plan
1. Herbal Medicines (under supervision of a qualified Ayurvedic doctor):
âï¸ Daily Lifestyle and Diet (Dinacharya)
A. Morning Routine
Wake by 6:00 AM. Rub warm sesame oil on head, temples, soles, and palmsâleave for 15â20 mins before bathing (Abhyanga).
Nasya (Nasal Drops): 2 drops of Anu Taila in each nostril after oil massage and warm bath.
Mild walk or Surya Namaskar (10 mins to start) to activate circulation and reduce Kapha-Vata buildup.
B. Diet Guidelines
Avoid: Cold foods, curd, refrigerated water, deep-fried snacks, excessive sugar, and spicy items.
Favour: Warm, freshly cooked, mildly spiced, easy-to-digest meals. Include moong dal, ghee, cooked vegetables, khichdi.
Drink warm water only, infused with ginger, fennel, or tulsi.
Add a pinch of Trikatu churna to meals to enhance digestion.
