Medicine after IUI
Today i did my first IUI. I took lezra 2.5 mg from day 3 to day 7 then on 8th dat i took HMG 150 IU and on 10tb day i took ovidrel trigger shot and today on day 12 i got IUI. After the procedure the doctor prescribed me cyclogest 400 mg once daily and duphaston 10 mg twice daily and told me to do beta HCG blood test if my periods don't come on the expected date but she didn't tell me for how long i should take those two medicines. As by taking duphaston 10 mg tablets we clearly know that duphaston delays periods and 7 days  after stopping duphaston we get periods so i am really confused for how long should i take cyclogest 400 mg and duphaston 10 mg. Please tell me for how long should i take them? I would be forever thankful to you doctors.

You are right. You are taking heavy doses of Progestogens . So your periods will be delayed. If you don't get your periods on time then you should get beta HCG level done three weeks after the date of IUI. If you are pregnant your beta HCG level will be high.
