Medication - Health Anxiety
Hello, I am 47 - male. I have been on Nexito (Escitalporam) -10 mg (for 2 years), then Paxidep (Paroxetene) - 25 mg (for 1 and 1/2 years) and again Nexito - 20 mg for past 6 months - for health anxiety issues. Not doing adequately well. The doctor now feels that I should also be on Fluvoxamine in addition to Nexito. He has put me on 50 mg of Fluvox for a week and then increased to 100 mg. The Nexito is also being continued at 20 mg. He is not indicating any plan to taper down the Nexito steadi

Hi, Since your problems were not adequately controlled, now you have been given Fluvoxamine in addition to the previous medication. Your doctor may continue with Nexito for sometime. During follo-up, after evaluation, he may consider tapering. Discuss with your treating doctor
