Medication for Gout
Hello, I had been diagnosed with Gout in Germany with a Uric acid level of 10.. and was put under medication. Alopurinol 300mg for 1year. Now my uric acid levels have come down to 6.5 and doctor has advised me to take Alopurinol 100mg. I was consulting doctor in Germany. But now am in India and have not consulted any doctor. Could you please let me know how long should I continue this medication? Also are there any side effects due to this medicine? Please advice.

For gout/hyperuricemia: Tab Febuxostat 80mg at night and 40mg post breakfast for 1month. Avoid brinjal, soyabeen, yellow Dal, mutton, tomato, green saag, beer.

Still ur uric acid level is high so continue allopurinol for 1 month stop non veg in diet
