Talk to experienced psychiatrist online and get your health questions answered in just 5 minutes.
Hello!
I can understand the discomfort you are facing with the medicines and the feeling you mentioned. Have you been taking therapy as well?
However, I would recommend you to review the medicines with your psychiatrist once, also we need to understand that it takes 2-3 weeks for our body to adjust with the medications.
As a clinical psychologist I can only conduct assessments and provide therapy, whereas a psychiatrist can prescribe medications.
I hope this answers your query :)
Hi. You are already on a lot of medications, that too with full doses. Probably needs psychotherapy as well. Why don’t u try taking therapy sessions from a psychologist?
Seems your Dr Haas tried his best ,still your symptoms are fluctuating , you can have a word with your Dr for alternative mode of treatment . still if complain persists , it will be good option to have a second opinion , who would look into your case details from a fresh perspective and advise accordingly.
Next Steps
Contact your treating Dr and explain your concerns
If you are taking the medicines as advised regularly but still not feeling better, you might need some more intensive treatment. Kindly consult your doctor for other alternatives.
