Dear doctor, I'm taking MDR for the past 15 months.still how many months I have to continue with this drugs.please guide how to overcome the side effects like confusion,fear,sweating while eating.. Drugs details clofazime -100mg, thiomide E - 750mg,pyrizamide - 2000mg, moxifloxacin - 400mg..

In short, total 24 months treatment needed.. but some may stop by 18 months.. depending on clinical situation.. also these side effects can be related to thyroid problem due to drug ethionamide .. pyrazinamide is usually not given for more than 6 months but you need to consult your doctor for special reasons..
