Sounds like you have costochindtitis, usually gets better on its own, over time. It can last for a few weeks to months. Painkillers that help with inflammation, like ibuprofen for few days ,hot water fermentation over the affected part and if necessary,physiotherapy with TENS. Breathing exercises, and stretches can help decrease the pain.
