Maintaine injection at 7 weeks pregnant
Hi, I am 7 weeks pregnant and using susten 300 daily. Yesterday I had right side abdominal pain so I went to doctor for checkup... She said it was normal and asked to take maintaine injection and asked to stop susten and take Duphaston... May I know why the tablet changed?? What is the use of maintaine injection.. Can you please let me know

Maintain s progesterone used to support pregnancy.
However if u r hvng pain its better to do an ultrasound for fetal viability and also rule out ny urine infection which s common in pregnancy.
So if u feel u hv burning in urine or excessive frequency of urination do a urine examination, drink plenty of fluids.
Do an ultrasound if not already done
