Maetarsal V fracture rehabilitation
Metatarsal V fracture, non-displaced, close to 5 weeks ago, conservative treatment with Aircast boot. May I take off the boot for non weight bearing exercise like gentle ankle flexion? No pain at fracture site anymore.  Still significant swelling using Reparil 20mg x 3 daily.

This fracture usually heals on 5 weeks. Absence of Pain or tenderness specially on stressing the area ( by inturning the foot by applying some force) is the sign of healing. U may remove the brace and stress the area. If no or minimal pain then may walk without brace. Avoid twisting of foot. U can apply any gel or spray locally
