Fracture of base of 5 th metatarsal
I twisted my right foot 3 weeks ago and suffered a light fracture in the base of 5 th metatarsal with swelling and moderate pain. Doc told to put compression bandage for 3 weeks. Now I have no (or very minimal) pain. I stopped wearing it. But when I started walking again I experienced some swelling and it resolved after elevation.is it normal? Will it resolve itself or should i continue wearing Compression bandage

Some swelling after a fracture is common. It takes couple of months for it to subside. Do not worry it will resolve on its own.
