Lymph node tb
I have mediastinal lymph node.it was diagnosed though CECT and EBUS. Size was 7cm× 3cm. Previously having fever which is not there now. Dry Cough also reduced but still having dry cough like 15 to 20 times in a day. This counting vary some day 20 times cough some day 10 times cough. I'm 3 and half month of treatment now. Doctor recommended 8months of treatment. My question is is this normal to have cough still now? Whe some day i cough more nd some day no cough. Doctor please ans my question is this normal?

It is normal to have cough for a prolonged period. Continue to take the full course and follow up. For immediate relief take fexofenadine 120 mg once daily before sleep. Continue this for 5 days.

Continue treatment for a total of 9 mnths instead of 8 Cough is a usual symptom of TB . There can be good and bad days . It can also be allergy U can take tablet Montair FX before sleep . And steam inhalation for symptomatic relief For more take online consultation Regards dr ankit sharma

Pl use Att for the alloted complete period.The lymphnodes will decrease in size,slowly. The symptoms like, Cough, pressure effects will slowly decrese.pl consult pulmonologist for further evaluation and treatment.
